well, i do not mind ninjas dressing like that, it's highly provocative for me of course, and hideous, but as long as these women are adults and chose to do so, c'est leur choix.
but that little girl covered from head to toe... that should be repressed by law, it's child abuse!!

Maybe they were influenced by "Islamic" channels or by their husband or a member of their family. In fact, this wear isn't from our Moroccan culture and I'm wondering how they can get administrative documents with face picture.
For the little girl, I remeber someone who told that a boy called her mum "Ummi" ("Mum" in Standerd Arabic). Arabize me this.

you have to admit that Moroccan urban traditional dresses are also covering women from head to toe.. Haiek, Izar, or Jellaba with Qob and Ngab... it's prettier because colors are permitted (the black is kinda freaky) but this is not that foreign after all.
But you're right, it's the attitude that is strange.. covering eyes and hands too is insane!

We should never make fun about other's religion percepts or beliefs ...

I am sure that if they were Jews or Catholics you wouldn't say anything .

wear what makes you feel good and let the others do the same ...

are Jeans & strings from pure Moroccan tradition ?

you're wrong dz, if they were Moroccan jews or catholics i would still find it horrible. As for religious beliefs, it doesn't allow one to do whatever he wants, and it absolutely doesn't mean it is right just because it's a religious belief.
i maintain that this is nothing but child abuse, or what do you call.. as for jeans & strings, as long as it is on Moroccan asses, it's Moroccan. (stupid response to a stupid argument)

So as long as this Burka , Nikab -or call it as you like- on Marrocan Shoulders , it's Marrocan wear ...

Stupidity doesn't existe ... Evry opinion is important to keep diversity in the world ...

influence ... how long have you been influenced .. and by what ? thing twice and say it once !

you're free to wear what you want , so let the others do ... and keep you brilliant remarques for more important things ...

sorry i shouldn't have used the word stupid, but still i can't find another word :)
Jeans & strings are not of any tradition, for they appeared in the last part of the last century, never existed before. If you like it's a globalist wear, symptomatic of globalization. it's neither French, Japanese or American.
Again, i do not care about these adults, if they are stupid enough to disguise them selfs as belphegors out of a religious belief, they are free to do what they want. And if others are stupid enough to bleach their hair, wear vertiginous heals, and starve them selfs to fit in extra tight jeans, i don't care either. But to impose that to a little girl, hardly 6 years old is horrible and unacceptable.
Influence, what influence are you talking about?
